| PDP Leader's daughter joins Peoples Movement | | |

Anantnag, Apr 20: In a major setback to People's Democratic Party (PDP), daughter of a top leader has formally joined, IAS officer-turned politician, Shah Faesal's Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement.
Sources revealed to Early Times that top PDP leader's daughter has accepted the basic membership of the party and has even attended some party programs in past few weeks.
They claimed that the young lady may be given a chance to contest assembly elections against her own father from South Kashmir. However, her joining the party wasn't given much hype.
PDP Leader has also lost completely the support of his family members, Sources privy to major family feud told Early Times
The PDP leader is from South Kashmir and is one among the top leaders of party who decide things and frame policies. He had garbed headlines after a major recruitment scam surfaced in the state.
Few months ago, his close relative also joined National Conference while as the PDP leader has lost few top party workers of his constituency to National Conference and Congress. |
