3 day orientation course ReK of District Jammu concludes

Jammu, Apr 20: Three days orientation training programme for newly appointed Rehbar-e-khel teachers of District Jammu concluded today here at Youth Hostel Nagrota.
The training programme was organized by Department of Youth Services & Sports Jammu District w-e-f. 18th to 20th of April 2019. The said training programme was organised under the patronage of Dr. Saleem-ur-Rehman Director General, Youth Services & Sports J&K Jammu and under the chairmanship of Madan Lal, Joint Director Youth Services & Sports Jammu whereas Chanchal Kour, District Youth Services & Sports officer Jammu was the organising secretary of the said course.
Near about 122 Rehbar-e-Khel teachers took part in the training programme at Youth Hostel Nagrota. Besides, refining the skills of participating Rehbar-e-Khel teachers, the main objective of the said training programme was to provide latest knowhow about the rules & regulations and also about the latest amendments made from time to time in the games & sports.
Jasbir Singh Bhau ZPEO Bhalwal and Jaswant Singh ZPEO Jourian were the Conveners and Co-conveners respectively. The training was imparted by the experts of Kho-Kho, Volleyball and Kabaddi game, etc of the Department. While addressing the Closing ceremony, Dr. Saleem-ur-Rehman worthy Director General, Youth Services & Sports J&K Jammu who was chief guest appreciated the new trainees for participation with dedication, to impart the said experience in their respective institutions to boost the students for participating in the forthcoming sports activities for the session 2019-20.
