SIPS shines in International Olympiads

Jammu, Apr 20: Stephens International Public School conducted a series of Olympiads including Maths, Science, English, Social Science as well as Reasoning and Aptitude under the aegis of Silver Zone Foundation New Delhi which deals with organizing competitions at the international level.
The objective of the competition was to enhance the thinking capacity, problem solving skills besides sharpening the analytical reasoning ability of children. Immense participation of students from classes VI to XII was witnessed.
The achievement of the participants was equally commendable. In total the students bagged 20 gold medals, 16 silver and 14 bronze medals.
The star achievers among them were Sukhvir Singh (class XI), Sandeep Kour (class X), Dixesh Singh Deonia (class IX), Amanpreet Singh (class VIII), Uddhav Singh (class VII) and Kiratjot Singh (class VI) who scored 1st rank at state level. Loveleen Singh Choudhary (class XI) scored 2nd rank at state level.
Moreover Tania Tanian of class XII earned scholarship of 5,000 for her exceptional achievement. Satvinder Saini, the Director of the school awarded the achievers and the participants with medals and certificates.
Rama Jamwal, the Dean Academics, in her address, lauded the efforts of the students for this remarkable achievement.
She also appreciated the teaching fraternity especially Mamta Saroch, Gunjan Ghai, Pardeep Singh, Sachin Dogra and Amita Manhas who ignited the young minds for an all round development.
