JAMMU, Apr 21 : Martyr Ramesh Yadav Eleven registered second win in the ongoing selection matches of specially-able cricketers at Science College Cricket Ground Jammu.
The selection matches for the specially-able cricketers for picking Indian team for participation in the world Cup is being jointly organized by J&K Physically Challenged Cricket Association and J&K Cricket Association.
In today's match Sukhjinder Singh Director of J&K PCCA was the Chief Guest who was introduced with the participating players of both teams. While interaction with the players he conveyed his good wishes for them for their performance in the selection matches.
The event is being conducted under the chairmanship of A.H. Bukhari, CEO JKCA, Jang Bahadur Singh Jamwal Member JKCA will be the Co-chairman, Ravi Chouhan Founder Secretary of Physically Challenged Cricket Association of India, Satish Gupta & Sukhjinder Singh Directors of the J&K PCCA, Ashish Singh Vice President of J&K PCCA, Sanjeev Mahajan Sports Advisor of J&K PCCA whereas Rajesh Gill Hon. President and Rajesh Dhar Secy of J&K PCCA are the coordinators of these selection matches.
Martyr Ramesh Yadav Eleven defeated Martyr Raj Tilak Eleven by 32 runs.
Batting first Martyr Ramesh Yadav Eleven scored 137 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Vinay Yadav scored unbeaten 49 runs, Naresh scored 22 runs and Sushil 16 runs. From the bowling side Mohit took 3 wickets while Mehzub, Sanjay and mani took 1 wicket.
In reply Martyr Raj Tilak Eleven could not chased the target and managed to score 105 runs by losing all wickets in 17.2 overs thus lost the match by 32 runs. From batting side Satya paul 38 runs , Soni Sota 12 runs Mani 10 runs were the main scorers. From bowlin side Swapnil and Ajay took 2 wickets while Mohit , Raju and Gurpreet took 1 wicket each. Saleem Ur Rehman, Sadiq Hussain and sanju were the officials of today's match.
