JKSYAC condemns political parties for invoking article 370 , 35A in their election manifesto
4/21/2019 11:25:23 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Apr 21: The JK Youth Sharnarthi Action Committee (JKYSAC) of Displaced Persons (DPs) of 1947 from Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) strongly condemned the political parties for using the sensitive issue of articles 370 and 35A for their petty political interest, which is totally morally wrong and also multiplying the troubles for nationalist forces living in state, besides giving boost to separatist forces in the state.
In a press statement, the president JKYSAC Pt RC Sharma, (Journalist, RTI & Peace Activist) has urged the political parties to refrain themselves for invoking the article 370 and 35A in their election manifesto or talking about it in election rallies. He asked the lusty political parties that such act has already raised the separatism thoughts in the state and pushed the state in a quandary. He pooh-poohed all the political parties especially BJP and its national president for raking this sensitive issue in every election rally for emotionally blackmailing. He said, "In case the BJP claims to be nationalist party of the country then why it is hell bent to strengthen the separatist forces in the state. He said that country is grappling with many problems and issues but the political parties are ignoring them deliberately but only attracting the public attention they are using 370 and 35A of Jammu & Kashmir. He said that the genuine residents of the state have no problem with 370 and 35A then why the outsiders are having problems with these articles.
He said under the protection of these two articles the state is having less crime, less poverty, less unemployment and less riots as compared to the other states, but due mishandling of the article 370 and 35A the state has witnessed a turmoil in 1990, when the BJP was supporting the VP Singh government from outside. He asked the political parties that in North-East state there is no 370 or 35A then why these states are witnessing bloodshed. This clearly shows that article 370 and 35A are not responsible for the militancy in the state. He suggested the Indian parliament to implement 370 and 35A to all of the states of Indian country to put a check on the inter-state crime and inter-state financial bungling, besides it will also project the worth of the each state. He requested the political parties do not use these two articles for their petty political interest and do not be instrumental to damage the sovereignty of the Indian state in general.
