| Those were the days when the Rulers of this country after Independence were having the great concern for the people of the country and they were giving the top priorities to the problems of the people for their appropriate solutions especially to those of the farmers and the poor masses which now have been totally side lined but instead the big capitalists of the country are receiving the utmost attention of the Union Government led by the Prime Minister Narender Modi under the banner of NDA. Pro farmer and common man approach is totally missing at the moment resulting which they are suffering a lot without any fault of theirs.
They are now repenting on their actions in supporting the saffron brigade during the Lok Sabha elections in 2014. Last year, Kissans under the banner of Bhartiya Kissan Union were stopped for entering the seat of power - New Delhi thereby building the big barricades with the 'strong bandobust' of para military forces. Kissans were demanding the implementation of the recommendations of the Swaminathan Commission at the earliest. They had started the yatra from Haridawar on September 23 last year in support of their demands. They were lathi charged and tear gassed as also were sprinkled coloured water. This was the fourth big Kissan Andolan in the country during the last two years. Except for the various promises for doubling their incomes by 2022, it is worth mentioning here that the Kissans are not getting the requisite support price for their agricultural produces from the government resulting which they are forced to commit the suicides for not liquidating the borrowed loans to the banks.
They were on the streets and struggling hard for the acceptance of their genuine demands. They are suffering a lot whereas the capitalists of the country are enjoying the privileges and other lucrative facilities given by the Union Government for evading the various taxes. Similar is the case of of a common man who is being pierced by the rising prices the essential commodities due to the high inflation as also due to the faulty economic and taxation policies of the Union Government. The general public is the worst hit these days due to the rising of the prices of petrol and diesel. There is a big hue and cry across the country because of this bad aspect of the present economy of the country resulting which a great resentment is brewing among the masses against BJP and NDA. On the economic front, the political experts feel that the the Central Government remained a total failure in curbing the rising of the prices of all the essential commodities and the petrol and diesel particularly. The poor strata of the Indian Samaj is the worst hit and the general masses of the country. INC and the other political parties remained divided and failed miserably for forming a grand alliance against NDA in giving the tough resistance to PM Modi. Pertinent to mention here that It is very strange to observe that Baba Ram Dev and Anna Hazaare have gone on the back foot as also in the pocket of Narender Modi after dislodging UPA- II government led by Dr. Man Mohan Singh at the centre at the behest of RSS. Pitanjlee Chief Baba Ram Dev is quite busy in his business empire these days and has the least concern for the people problems now and whereas Anna Hazaare stands neglected by his own brigade which gave the very tough time to UPA-II government. It looks strange that as to why these two stalwarts of the country who led the vicious campaign against Dr.Man Mohan Singh at the centre at the behest of RSS in dislodging him as the Prime Minister of the nation, have gone on the back foot over the big issue of black money kept abroad by the various corporate and the big Industrialist operating in the country at the moment. The Shiv Sena Chief Udhav Thakre was also exploiting the people of the country over the Ram temple issue against the Modi government at the centre because of the one reason only as his eyes were on the distribution of the Lok Sabha seats between the BJP and his outfit and ultimately he succeeded in it. During the rule of the present PM Narender Modi, Vijaya Mallaya, Nirav Modi and others have gone abroad after having swindled the huge money of the countrymen escaped and succeeded in leaving the country and have settled abroad. Financial scams occurred in OBC and PNB also during Modi's rule of five years. Needless to mention that, it was expressed during the Anna's Andolan by the certain quarters that the former President of India Pranab Mukerji (then Finance Minister in Dr. Man Mohan Singh's cabinet) felt many difficulties in facing the tough arguments advanced by Arvind Kejriwal (one of the negotiators of Anna's team) who is presently the Chief Minister of Delhi. At that time, Mukerji requested Dr.Man Mohan Singh for his replacement with some other senior colleague of his cabinet. This gives the impression that Arvind Kejriwal is a gem and extra ordinary person on the Indian polity who is running the Delhi Government since more than four years despite of the many hindrances created by Modi government. India is famous for Andolans as it fought the freedom movement against the Britishers who ruled this nation for more than two centuries and ultimately we attained the Independence in August 1947. After Independence, Indians fought with their own Rulers many a times for getting their genuine demands acceded by the Union Government. Just for recollection of the memories, I like to throw some light on past Andolans launched by the general masses of the country against the Central Government.
Against the dictatorial attitude of the then Prime Minister of the country Madam Indira Gandhi, Jaya Prakash Narayan (JP) launched the massive movement in the country. This agitation was named as JP Andolan. At that time, Madam Indira Gandhi was ruling the country as a dictator and during her regime no heed was being paid to the opposition. Felt neglected out rightly, the entire opposition went behind JP in the country for fighting against the misrule of Madam Gandhi. During this time, in an election case filed by Raj Narayan against Madam Gandhi, a Judgment came from the Allahabad High Court against Madam Gandhi unseating her from the membership of the Parliament instantly.On this score, furiously, she clamped the "EMERGENCY" in the country and almost all the top opposition leaders were arrested in the midnight of June 25 and 26, 1975 and they were put behind the 'Bars'. 1n 1977, the emergency was lifted from the country and the elections to the Lok Sabha were held and Janata Party came to power and Morarji Bhai Desai became the Prime Minister of the Country. I am just recollecting the days when people who are the real owners of this great country were not heard properly this deadly agitation was fought by the then old opposition stalwarts like JP himself, Morarji Desai, Atal Ji, George Fernandez, L.K. Advani, Charan Singh and they remained the victorious against the dictatorial rule of Madam Indira Gandhi. Since then the country had not faced any big agitation. And after a period of about 38-40 years, Anna Hazarre - a Gandhian, came to light and he like JP, he launched ANDOLAN famously called as Anna Andolan. Anna Hazzare took the command and led the agitation against the Ruling setup in support of the demand for having a Lok Pal in the country. People at large had supported the initiative taken by Anna Hajare and made it as a Mass Movement in support of Lok Pal. At last, highness prevailed and the country got the LOK PAL Act which at the moment is in force but failed to create the impressive and effective institution as yet. Having seen no positive results due to the Demonetization of the currency notes of Rupees 500 and Rs. 1000 and the implementation of the GST in the country, the people of the country have shown their great resentment against Modi government. On the RSS dictates from Nagpur, Modi government was abled to pump RSS oriented officers to various constitutional bodies in governing and controlling their affairs fully thereby making the authority erosions in these bodies. Under the ongoing Modi regime, various constitutional remained under threat to their very existences as their functioning's. These days, the biggest parliamentary democracy of the World under going the parliamentary poll process and it is being said that there is a big neck to neck fight between the UPA and NDA as als revealed from the various survey reports. For the success of the Parliamentary Democracy in the country, it is essential that there should be a strong system of check and balance that means that the existence strong opposition is must. The people of the country know very much as to what happened with the function of the Constitutional bodies during the Modi rule?
Apart from this, INC raised the issue of Raffle fighters deal with Anil Ambani's company instead of HAL ( GOI Undertaking) time and again. The confession on this score, stands already made by the former President of France. Demonetization of currency notes of Rs. 1000 and Rs.500 and Raffle deal with France through Anil Ambani would definitely prove detrimental to the interests of BJP and NDA during the ongoing poll procees of Lok Sabha. A day before, the General Secretary of the INC Priyanka Gandhi, while briefing the media and alleging the BJP, stated that they began to believe that power belonged to them only and not with the people of the country. She indicated that this belief was whent BJP Supremo Amit Shah said the promise of 15 Lakh was for the sake of election only. Shah said that it was Jumla(gimmick). The opposition parties in the country are terming the Modi Government as the 'Sarkar of Jhumlas'. It wiil not be fair to describe that certainly the credit goes to Modi government for the settlement of OROP for the personnel of the Indian Army as also strengthening the Indian Army against Pakistan which now is very much afraid of the Indian strength to deal with it firmly. Not only this , the Union Government has tightened its noose against the pro Separatists and the Hurriayat Amalgamation. The pro Separatists and the Hurriayat Amalgamation have been marginalized drastically.
It was quite evident that the above duo Anna Hazaare and Baba Ram Dev were interested only in ousting the Dr. Manmohan Singh government rather than the important issue of black money over which the peole of the country were made as the scape goats. Now the question arises in the minds of the countrymen as to why the duo did not raise any voice against Modi during his period as the Prime minister of the country for bringing the black money back into the country from abroad ? It was not expected from them at all. A very relevant question arises in the minds of the people of the country, were they(duo) satisfied with the performance of PM Modi over the issue of black money? Certainly not.
They should make their stand and the positions clear before the countrymen otherwise it would be understood that they were the people who brought Narender Modi into power at the centre in 2014. |
