Symposium, poster making competition organized

Kathua, Apr 23: symposium and a poster making competition was organized in the premises of Tiny Scholars School, by Jammu & Kashmir Forest Department to mark the celebrations of "Earth Day".
The symposium was theme on the topic 'conservation of endangered and extinct species'. Around 60 students participated in the event which aimed at creating awareness about the conservation of endangered species.
Kuldeep Kumar, DFO Environment and Remote sensing Jammu & Arvind Padha, Painting expert and Social worker graced the occasion as chief guest. The director of the school Manisha Gupta presided over the function in the presence of principal Ruchi Gupta, Staff and students of Tiny Scholars School. The program began with the lightening of lamp by the chief Guest, Director & the Principal of Tiny Scholars School The symposium competition was judged by Gareeb Hussain, Vice Principal Tiny Scholars School, Kathua and Poster making competition was judged by Abhishek Padha, Painting expert & social worker.
At the end of the celebration the students and the staff members of the school were honoured by trophies and caps, note books, hand bags & fruits by the Jammu & Kashmir Forest department.
