| Right to franchise was snatched from KP migrants: Er. Rishi Kilam | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 23: Lambasting over the callous attitude of the administration and Election Commission of India, National Executive Council Member Student wing of NCP and Prominent Social Activist Er. Rishi Kilam said that the 80% of KP Migrants are deprived of their right to franchise deliberately and it is purely encroaching upon the fundamental rights. It is shocking, strange and ironic and shameful that the Kashmiri migrants are deprived of their right to vote even after fulfilling their necessary formalities and after filling of M Form. Kashmiri Migrants have raised this issue in previous elections also but their is no one to listen to them as it seems that Kashmiri Migrants are being treated as B class citizen's. Er. Rishi said that he would like to ask the so called leaders of the Kashmiri Pandit Community not to mislead the community by way of asking them to vote for BJP. He said that they are simply misleading the community and are nothing but simply paid agents of a particular party. It is shameful that the Migrants went for casting their vote but were refused to do so as their names were not found in voter list even after filling the M Form . The deliberate act and Mischief should be exposed and the people involved in it should be taken to task. |
