Inter School zone level tournament of Hiranagar gets underway

Hiranagar, Apr 23: Inter School zone level tournament of zone Hiranagar for U-14 and U-17 years boys and girls started here at sports stadium Hiranagar under the directions of District Youth Services and Sports Officer Kathua Shobha Rani and under the supervision Zonal Physical Education Officer Hiranagar Yog Raj Sharma. The tournament was inaugurated by zonal education planning officer Kishori Lal in the presence of z and many other physical education masters and teachers.
On its first day the tournament witness the basis of kho-kho Kabaddi and volleyball for under 14 and 17 years girls in which a total of 270 players participated. In Kabaddi under 14 girls. Government Model middle school Hiranagar defeated Government middle School ward number 1 Hiranagar by 6 points in final match.
Earlier, Government Model Middle School Hiranagar outplayed Government Middle school Haripur in 1st semifinal and Government Middle School ward number 1 Hiranagar outplayed Government Middle School jandi by 6 points in 2nd semi final.
Kabaddi under 17. Government High School Chadwal defeated Government Girls High School Hiranagar in final match by seven points. Earlier, Government High School chadwal outplayed Government Higher Secondary School Chakra in first semi final and in 2nd semi final Government Girls High School Hiranagar outplayed Government Girls High School Kootah respectively.
