| General Observer chairs 2nd phase training of MOs | | | Early Times Report
LEH, Apr 25: General Observer (GO) Ladakh Parliamentary Constituency (PC) Alkesh Kumar Sharma today chaired the second phase training of Micro Observers (MO) here at DC office.
District Election Officer Leh Avny Lavasa was also present at the event.
Nodal Officers Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) Dr. Stanzin Rabgyas and Dr. Tundup Namgyal imparted training to the Micro Observers detailing about their responsibilities and duties through power-point presentation. A film on election was also screened on the occasion.
Addressing the MOs, the General Observer advised them to observe the overall functioning at their respective polling stations on the poll day and ensure that the last person in queue cast his vote.
He asked MOs to understand their role as per guidelines of the ECI, and contact him on his number on poll day for any query. |
