| Drivers Union hold protest against Police | | |

Rajouri, May 2: Driver Union Rajouri today held a strong protest demonstration against Rajouri police and demanded inquiry of the matter. Demonstrators block the road for long time and accused police especially Station House Officer Rajouri for not taking action against accused who beaten an innocent driver and FIR lodged at concern police station. Protestors including Keran Thakur (VHP), Himanshu Bhargav (Bajrang Dal), Jasweet Singh, Sunu Sethi, Minta Sawhney and many others were raising slogans against JK police and SHO Rajouri and expressed their strong resentment over carelessness of Rajouri police. "An FIR was registered at PS Rajouri for five days and police is failed to arrest the accused. The police want to make the Rajouri the part of Kashmir it is because police is not providing justice", they said appealed Union government to take notice of the matter. |
