JMC organizes awareness programme on SWM

Jammu, May 2: A programme on Solid Waste Management is organized by JMC in collaboration with Govt. Higher Secondary School Muthi.
Suraj Prakash Padha, the Chairman of Soild Waste Management Committee was the Guest of Honor.
The programme started with presentation and boque by the Principal to Master Jorawar Singh, representative from JMC. Master Jorawar Singh delivered lecture and given practical demonstration in the School to prepare compost from the organic waste of the house. He motivated to prepare compost even in home and sell them to earn.
Students and staff were pleased to know about preparation of compost and vermin compost in rural and urban areas of the district.
Chairman said on the occasion that we should obey the programme of Swachh Abihyan launched by Prime Minister on 2nd October, 2014.
Principal, Govt. Higher Secondary School, Muthi Sikander Lal Jee explained various problem of the school in connection with the waste of the school. Chairman assures the Principal of the School that all the problem will solve very shortly. Sapna Magotra Programme Coordinator conducted the proceedings of the awareness programme. Formal note of thanks was presented by Sikandar Lal, the Principal of the institution.
Banners and posters were also installed in the school.
Dr. Zaffar Iqbal has delivered the practical demonstration /awareness programme at Buta Nagar Jammu in presence of Corporator Ward No. 38 Surinder Sharma, President Buta Nagar Welfare Committee RL Zuthi and other members of the society Sanjay Gupta, Pridman Kumar Bhat, Shadi Lal Bhat, Rattan Lal Raina, Maharaj Krishan etc.
During awareness Dr. Zaffar Iqbal delivered the lecturer to manage the Solid Waste Management. He gave the three solutions to manage the Solid Waste Management properly.
