Early Times Report

doda, May 2: Fake appointments in different government departments in Doda district of Jammu region continue unabated.
As per details available with Early Times, one Minu Devi, wife of Pardeeep Singh, allegedly secured a government job by producing fake documents at the time of her appointment as FMPHW in the Health department on 01-05-2018 (vide order no. NRHM/2018-19/D/332-35) issued by the Chief Medical Officer.
Gulshan Ara, wife of Shazada Feroz, who was in the waiting list, submitted her objection against the selection of Minu Devi, alleging that Minu used tempered PRC (file No. 826/PRC of 2017, dated 07-08/3018) to get the appointment.
In response to Gulshan Ara's complaint to Deputy Commissioner Doda, the latter asked BMO, BDO Ghat and Tehsildar Doda to submit a report in this regard. In the report, the committee members found that the allegations of tempering with PRC levelled by Gulshan Ara against Minu Devi were found to be correct.
Speaking to Early Times, one Shazada Feroz said that after the selection list was released by the District Development commissioner, he moved the High Court for justice.
The court found Minu Devi guilty of tempering with the PRC and issued a show cause notice to the applicant on 13-08-18 and also ordered a stay on her appointment.
Feroz said a written complaint was also submitted on 17-10-2018 to Doda police for registration of FIR against Minu Devi for her illegal act. The police appointed ASP Hqrs as the enquiry officer. After enquiry, the ASP Doda stated that Minu Devi had tempered/overwritten PRC and got appointment in the Health department on the basis of the fraudulent documents. No action was however taken against her.
The petitioner further said that "it is very strange that despite High Court order and many enquiries by officers establishing the fraud, the accused applicant was still allowed to continue in the department."
