Jammu, May 3: Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Chander Mohan Gupta visited the areas of Gole Talab Tillo, Panjpeer other newly included Mohallas.
He was accompanied by Satpal Karlupia Councilor of the ward and other prominent citizens of Gole, Talab Tillo and Pounichak namely Pt Sain Dass, Pt Dwarka Nath, Romesh Chander, Deepak Sharma and others.
Mayor took stock of the various demands put forth by the Councilor on behalf of residents of his ward which includes deployment of more SKC's especially in the extended area of ward no.32, construction /renovation of lanes/drains, proper mecadmization of roads, de-silting of various nallahas well before rainy season, repairing /installation of street lights, lifting of stray animals & dogs, fogging /spraying to avoid spread of dengue & other communicable diseases.
Mayor listened to the demands carefully and directed the officers to resolve the issues of ward no.32 on priority basis. He appealed the persons accompanied the tour not to throw garbage on the public lanes and drains avoid using of polythene. |
