Jammu, May 3: Government MAM College Jammu NCC cadets brought laurels to the college by participating in massive numbers at the NCC Annual Training Camp J-1which was held at camping ground, Nagrota w.e.f 22-04-2019 to 01-05-2019, which was successfully attended by 30 cadets of Infantry wing and Associate NCC Officer Major Dr. Karan Singh. Total strength of the students who participated in different event like Firing, Drill, Weapon Drill, Guard of Honour, Field Craft and Battle Craft was 500 who were among three districts of Jammu, Reasi and Udhampur, various cultural activities like folk dance, bhangar etc was also a part of the camp. The students of Govt. MAM College Jammu got selected in elite camps like TSC (Thal Sainik Camp), Basic Mountaineering, shooting etc.
College student Cadet Sourav Manhas of 2nd year was selected for National mountaineering camp and around 20 Cadets were selected for TSC phases. The NCC cadets who were outstanding in the event were camp senior- JUO Nishant Mangotra, Barrack Senior CDT Sarfrosh Sharma, 3rd best shooter Cadet Munish Sharma, Tent pitching cadet Ranjan Kumar, Quarter guard Cadet Aman Cheema, Vishal Cheema, Lokesh Loch, Sumit Manhas, Rohil Jasrotia, Parshant Sayal. Various other cadets have been awarded in the cultural activities like singing, bhangra etc. |
