Leh: Addressing a mega Election rally organized by BJP at Polo ground Leh, Union Defense Minister Nirmala Sitaraman and Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu lambasted the Congress party for betraying the people of Ladakh.

Adressing the mega rally Defense Minister Nirmala Sitaraman said BJP is the true friend of people of Ladakh and only BJP Can do the justice with the people of Ladakh. She said Leh, Nobra, Changthang , Kargil, Zansker and Drass badly neglected by the successive Congress governments and it was Atal Behari Vajpayee who during the Prime Minister of India did lot of development in Ladakh by sanctioning the funds and after that its Narendra Modi the present Prime Minister Who did a lot for the people of Ladakh. Sitaraman said grant of divisional Status to Ladakh, Ladakh University, Leh Medical College, Expansion of Leh Airport, Funds for Zogilla Tunel, Huge funding for Zansker road and road to Demchok via Nyoma and future road project of Turtuk Tha Hanu road and electricity to all households in all areas of Leh and Kargil. She assured that all the pending issues related to Ministry of Defense will be resolved at the earliest and She will personally look into the issues of People of Ladakh region. Making scathing attacks on Congress Nirmala Sitaraman said people in India rejected the Congress party because Congress always back stabbed the Nationalist foreces in the Country and gave all support shelter to anti national forces. She made an appeal to the peopl of Ladakh to Unitedly Support Prime Minister Narinder Modi and Bote for BJP and make sure the victory of BJP Candidate Jamyang Tsering Namgyal.

Addressing the rally Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu highlighted the policies of Prime Minister Narinder Modi for Himalayan States including Ladakh. Khandu said during the Congress Government only mess and chaos was in India, Country was plundered badly , there was no accountability and no transparency and during the Modi Government India touched new heights and every Indian feels proud on our dynamic Prime Minister Narinder Modi. Pema Khandu said the Special Concentration and special polices framed for Himalayan States resulted into lot of development in Hilly States including Ladakh region in J&K. He assured the people of Ladakh that he will keep on supporting the people of Ladakh and made an appeal to Vote unitedly for BJP and ensure the Victory of Jamyang Tsering Namgyal.

Addressing the rally BJP State President Ravinder Raina said People Ladakh region are the most nationalist people and only BJP Can do the justice with people of Ladakh. Hitting hard to Congress party Raina Said Congress party is party of nationals and they never care for the Nationalist forces. Raina assured the people that BJP will end the discrimination with Ladakh region as already Ladakh is granted separate division, Medical College at Leh, Ladakh University, expansion of Leh Airport, Zogilla tunnel are the mega projects that have already been taken up by BJP. BJP Candidate Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, while addressing the rally, requested the people to Vote for BJP and after winning the MP Election he will try his level best to do the justice with the people of Ladakh. He said that as an MP he will be the Chowkidar of people of Ladakh.

BJP MLC and former Minister Tsering Dorje also appealed the people to vote for BJP MLC Vikram Randhawa, Dr Narinder Singh, Tashi, Mumtaz Hussain, Gayal Wangyal, Dorjey Anchuk, Samasthan, Tashi Yagzgi, Punchuk, Wangdus, Morup, Lama Yantak, Mahila Morcha President Dolma were the prominent those address the rally at Leh Polo ground.
