| Police recover stolen ornaments, one held | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 4: Gangyal Police today arrested thief and recovered stolen ornaments from his possession. According sources a complaint was lodged at PS Gangyal alleging theft of 20 grams gold ornaments. Based on this, FIR No 36/2019 u/s 457/380 was registered at PS Gangyal.
A team of PS Gangyal led by SHO Gangyal immediately swung into action. Several suspects were rounded up and questioned. Based on leads developed during investigation, a person named Ankush Massi was arrested. Based on his disclosure, 60 grams stolen gold ornaments were recovered, which included 2 tolas of stolen ornaments in FIR 36/2019 of PS Gangyal and 4 tolas of stolen ornaments in FIR 30/2019 of PS Nowabad. Further, the arrested accused is also wanted in Case FIR No. 35/2019 u/s 223/224 RPC of PS Bakshi Nagar. |
