Mayor tour areas of Vishal Nagar, Camp Road, Talab Tillo

Jammu, May 4: Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation Chander Mohan Gupta along with Councilor of ward no. 40 conducted a tour of areas of Vishal nagar Camp Road, Talab tillo.
A large of residents especially ladies of the ward no.40 were present and put forth their demands before Mayor, Mohd Taj Choudhary, XEn (UEED), Anil kumar JE (UEED) & other officers of JMC also accompanied the tour.
Residents strongly protested against UEED department and demanded that the work of construction /renovation of Nallah flowing in their area at Talab Tillo should be completed at an earliest and well before rainy season because school going children as well as old persons are mainly suffering due to its construction at very slow speed by UEED.
Mayor directed the XEn (UEED) strictly to speed up the work on this particular nallah on war footing. Residents also demanded for engagement of more safaikaramcharies in the ward, renovation of adjoining lanes/drains, proper fogging /spray in their ward to avoid dengue & other diseases, lifting of stray animals/dogs, repairing/installation of street lights etc.
