Early Times Report

Doda, May 4: The quality of education in government run schools in Gundna zone has deteriorated to the extent that the students are not able to write their names. Locals told Early Times that the schools lack proper infrastructure and staff which adversely affects the quality of education. They said Government Middle School Halla Dhara had one room for eight classes. Pertinently most of the students in rural areas opt for government schools and suffer because of lack of staff and infrastructure in these schools. Team District Rural Youth Welfare Association on behalf of locals requested Cheif Education Officer Doda and district administration to look into this matter as soon as possible and save the future of their children.
