Job Fest-2019 organised at Govt Polytechnic Jammu

Jammu, May 4: Government Polytechnic Bikram Chowk Jammu in association with CT Group of Institutions, Jalandhar, organised a Mega Placement Drive- JOB FEST 2019 in the college campus today in which more than 550 students of Polytechnics, ITIs and Graduate of J&K participated. The JOB FEST-2019 was inaugurated by Dr Ravi Shankar Sharma KAS, Director, Technical Education, J&K, who while addressing the jam packed gathering in Auditorium encouraged all the aspiring students for the most significant phase of their academic journey. He laid stress upon the various challenges a student faces in seeking job & also encouraged them to convert the said challenges into fruitful opportunities by continuous hard work & dedication and appreciate the efforts put in by college administration in successful conduct of JOB FEST.
In his welcome address, Er Arun Bangotra, Principal of the college motivated the participating students to take this Job Fest as the first stepping stone of their professional career and thanked all the distinguished HR Officers present. He further added that the Job Fest was organized with an endeavour to provide employment opportunities to Polytechnic, ITI and Graduate students of J&K in 17 renowned multinational and national companies such as Reliance Jio, Motherson Sumi, Indo Farm Equipment Ltd, Furukawa Mina Electric Pvt Ltd, Club JB, HIM Technoforge Ltd, Team Lease, Pukhraj, Phoenix Udhoy, Impinge Solutions, Red carpet, Jivo Welness, Travo care world wide service Pvt Ltd etc. All these companies conducted their placement process for the passout students of 2017, 2018 and passing out students of 2019 batch.
