After ignoring ULB elections now Omar dying to get into assembly: Raman Suri
5/5/2019 11:09:12 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, May 5: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Raman Suri today said that those who marred the political career of their workers by not participating in Urban Local Body (ULB) polls and allowed these institutions of importance to lapse during their tenure as chief minister are dying to participate in assembly polls for their vested interests.
In a statement issued here Raman Suri said that former chief minister Omar Abdullah who's going unplugged over assembly polls and accusing anyone must recall that it was National Conference which boycotted Lok Sabha polls when entire nation participated in 90s and it was National Conference again which boycotted ULB polls in 2019 again.
A party which doesn't believe in democracy, doesn't believe in empowering it's workers, can allow elected ULBs to lapse, couldn't hold elections to ULB during its tenure and stop it's workers to participate in recently concluded Municipal polls is nothing but a power hungry party waiting for assembly elections to participate and see themselves in lower as well as upper houses. Raman Suri said that BJP believes in democratic values and that's the reason it's entire political organisation is duly elected and don't have any dynast in it. BJP never boycotted any poll and believes in strengthening democratic values of country.
He added that by being sarcastic about polls and accusing directly prime minister, Omar Abdullah was exposing himself as a power hungry man who didn't let workers participate in ULB polls but is dying to get into assembly himself.
