Debate competition on "Women Empowerment" organized

Bhalessa, May 5: A philanthropic organization, SHAHEEN Trust organized a debate competition on "Women Empowerment" at Govt GHS Budhli in which 25 contestants from different Schools participated. The Chief Guest of the programme was Tehsildar Chilli Pingal Daljeet Singh Parihar. The main goal of organising this programme was to raise awareness about the empowerment of women as well as providing platform for co-curricular activities to young students . In this programme Mahesh Manhas a trustee of SHAHEEN Trust highlighted the role and achievements of SHAHEEN Trust . Tehsildar Daljeet Singh Parihar in his speech appreciated the work of SHAHEEN organisation as well as the performance of participants. He extended all means of help for the organisation. Chairman SHAHEEN Trust Tasleem Javaid Wani presented the vote of thanks and also spoke on the importance of "Women Empowerment. Stage Secretary of the programme was Sheikh Shabir whereas judges for the debate were Ganesh Singh, Zubair Ganie and Mahesh Manhas. The Secondary Level Ist prize was given to Rohail Younes Malik student of Govt GHS Budhli whereas 2nd prize was given to Faisal Ishaq Malik student of Govt GHS Budhli and 3rd prize to Iqra Tabassum student HSS Jakyas. Meanwhile the Primary and Upper Primary level 1st Prize was given to Nirmal Rana (New Light Academy Jakyas) 2nd Prize to Manali (New Light Academy Jakyas) and 3rd Prize to Mohd Asif (GRC Academy Bammu).
