UCMAS Abacus conducts 9th J&K State Level Abacus , Arithmetic Competition

Jammu, May 5: UCMAS Abacus, a World Leader in abacus based brain development program conducted 9th J&K State Level UCMAS Abacus & Arithmetic Competition here today.
This competition was organized as per the guideline provided by Akademi Sempoa & Mental Aritmetik U C MAS Sdn. Bhd, Malaysia & UCMAS India Network.
On the occasion, Former Education Minister Priya Sethi along with J&K Bhartiya Janata Party state General Secretary Yudhvir Sethi inaugurated the competition.
Yudhvir Sethi said UCMAS Abacus programme being run in J&K from the past 10 years have improved the education quality and has also given a competitive edge to students pursing this course.
More than 500 students pursuing UCMAS course at different authorized centers participated in the competition in different batches.
The competition was conducted in 8 levels where 200 questions of
Arithmetic (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division) were asked and children were given a time of 8 minutes to complete the paper.
A 'Selfie Booth' was installed at competition venue for kids & their parents.
The competition was managed under the supervision of Director UCMAS J&K Rupesh Masson and Academic Director Sonia Masson. Franchisee Owners of UCMAS Centers namely Rashmi Aggarwal, Laxmi Deep Gupta, Anita Bhan, Pallavi Hans, Rita Sharma, Baljeet Kour, Tina Mahajan, Rama Sharma, Arti Chopra, Shital Jamwal, Sonia Rekhi, Princi Jain, Santosh Manhas, Neelam Sudan, Arti Khajuria, Sonia Sharma, Priya Choudhary, Mamta Sharma, Seema Khanna, Shifali Badgotra, Upasna Arora, Divya Gupta, Anju Bala, Shivani Sharma, Jyoti Kohli, Anmol Sharma, Anuj Sharma, Madhur Bharti, Jagdish Kumar and Course Instructors namely Satvinder Kour, Pooja Gupta, Rita Sharma, Rajni Gupta, Sandeepa Sharma, Shikha Deep, Radha Sharma, Bhavna Gandotra, Asha Rani, Raveen Akhtar, Renu Sharma, Sugandha Sharma, Rohini Gupta, Usha Rani, Rekha Rani, Sunita Koul, Anjana Puri, Suraj Koul, Gurmeet Kour, Rachna Sharma and Anita Sharma were also present during the competition.
