| Police arrest two bootleggers, seized illict liquor | | |

RAMBAN, May 5: Continuing its action against the social crimes, Ramban police on arrested two bootlegger and recovered huge quantity of illicit liquor from them. During naka checking at Sangaldan Gool, party of police led by SDPO, Gool Mohd Rafi Giri intercepted a Bus bearing registration number JK02BM 4755.On checking, huge illicit liquor was recovered from the vehicle and two accused namely Happy Thakur son of Prem Singh resident of Kainthee Tehsil Thuroo and District Reasi and Ajay Sharma son of Suram Chand resident of Samhrolli ,Tehsil Cheenani and disrict Udhampur arrested.
In this regard FIR No. 32/2019 u/s 48 (a)Excise Act and 34 RPC stands registered in Police Station Gool and investigation taken up.
General public has highly applauded this police action and demanded more strict measures to root out the menace of all kinds of drugs damaging the very vitals of our society. The arrest and recovery has been made under the supervision of SDPO, Gool, Adl.SP Ramban Sanjay Parihar and overall supervision of SSP Ramban Anita Sharma. |
