Ravinder Raina, attacking Pakistan on the front foot for its open support to terrorism, held rogue country Pakistan and its sponsored militants responsible for ghastly attack which claimed precious life of BJP’s district Vice-President for Anantnag, Gul Mohammed Mir. He said that the way, in which Gul Mohammed Mir, senior BJP leader, was shot at his home in Nowgam village on Saturday night, testifies the frustration of terrorists to disrupt the ongoing peace process in Kashmir.

Raina, said that Gul Sahib was a dedicated BJP worker and a social activist who was also known as Atal Bihari Vajpayee of Anantnag. Stressing that the BJP fully stands with the family of the deceased leader in the hour and coming time with all help, his sacrifice will be avenged for good, sparing no body. Pakistan sponsored terrorists are the killer of humanity and all their supporters will be dealt with iron hands by the Modi government, he added. Kavinder Gupta, emphasized that the martyred leader has braved many threats to his life due to his active social and political life. He said that the sacrifice by Gul sahib will act as beacon for the coming generations and that these dastardly acts will further strengthen the resolve of Kashmir people to fight against the ill of terrorism and separatism. He asked the authorities for a stricter action in short span of time on all the culprits responsible for the act and ensuring all the measures for the security cover of lives of social and political workers across the state along with their families.

Sat Sharma, in his address, said that Gul Mohammed Mir was associated with the BJP for a long time and had earlier contested Assembly elections from Dooru constituency in 2008 and 2014.
