JAMMU, May 8: Divisional Commissioner Sanjeev Verma today chaired a meeting with concerned officers to review progress on 4 lane Jammu-Akhnoor Road project.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar, General Manager NHIDCL, Vijay Kumar, SSP Traffic, Joginder Singh, Chief Engineer I&FC, Vinod Kumar Gupta, DFO Jammu, Sat Paul, SDM North Jammu, Marh, Akhnoor and senior functionaries of PDD, PHE, PWD and other concerned.
The GM NHIDCL apprised the Div Com of the present status of work being executed on different parts of the project.
The Div Com asked the executing agencies to expedite the pace of progress on this mega project for its timely completion.
The DC apprised the Div Com of the status of draft awards, final awards besides the status of disbursement of compensation among the beneficiaries.
Later, the Div Com chaired a meeting to review the progress of mega projects being executed by various departments in Jammu.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Director Tourism, Commissioner JMC, and other concerned officers. |
