Jammu, May 8: A special assembly on Red Cross Day was conducted in the school premises of Sunrise Public School. A student of class 3rd, Anamya spoke about the Red cross Red Crescent Day. Two teachers Shivani Sharma & Ansh Gupta explained the theme of Red cross " Everywhere For Everyone " and told the students that the day aims to pay tribute to the ones for helping people in need. Principal Suchi Gupta highlighted the fundamental principles like Humanity, Impartiality, Independence, Volunteer service, unity and Universality. Every year, May 8 is celebrated as World red cross day to mark the birth anniversary of Henry Dunant, founder of Red cross. |
