KV Bantalab celebrates Annual Day

Jammu, May 8: Kendriya Vidyalaya, GC CRPF, Bantalab, Jammu celebrated its Annual Day and Prize Distribution ceremony with zeal and zest at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu, here today. S. P. Singh (DIG, GC CRPF, Bantalab, Jammu and Chairman, Vidyalaya Management Committee) was the Chief Guest of the occasion. Sanjeev Kumar Singh (Deputy Commandant, Administration, GC CRPF, Bantalab) was the Special Guest. The occasion was also graced by other CRPF Officers, dignitaries, VIPs, Press Officials, parents and students. The function began with the lighting of the traditional lamp followed by the Ganesh Vandana. The various attractions of the event were Kashmiri dance, Rajasthani dance, German song, Lavani, Skit on CRPF, Mime on the misuse of mobile phones, etc. In Sports- Karate self defence techniques were highly applauded by the audience present on the occasion. The School Principal, Suraj Prasad, presented the Annual Report highlighting the achievements of the school and the students in both academic and co- curricular activities. The Chief Guest gave away the prizes and certificates to the students and teachers who excelled in various fields. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest appreciated the spirit and confidence of the students and congratulated the Vidyalaya Parivaar for the excellent board results and other achievements.
