| Police Station Nowhatta arrested two drug peddlers, Charas and heroine recovered | | |

SRINAGAR, MAY 09: In continuation to the drive launched by Srinagar Police against the drug peddlers, today Nowhatta Police Station Srinagar arrested two drug peddlers and recovered some quantity of heroine and 400 gms from their possession.
A police party of Police Station Nowhatta headed by SHO Nowhatta Shri Syed Junaid under the supervision of SDPO Khanyar Sh Raja Zuhaib laid a surprise naka at Malkha Chowk and successfully nabbed two persons namely 1)Mohd Rafiq Pahloo S/o Ab Majeed R/o Babademb and 2) Riyaz Ahmad Channa S/o Ab Aziz R/o Chinkral Mohalla Srinagar from whose possession about 400 gms of Charas and some quantity of Heroin was recovered.
Both the accused persons were arrested and contraband seized on spot.
In this direction,FIR No. 22/2019 U/s 8/18,20 NDPS Act was lodged at Police Station Nowhatta and investigation set in motion. |
