5/9/2019 6:49:50 PM

New Delhi
Vandana Sufia Katoch praised her son for securing 60 per cent marks in Class 10 examinations.
She said, "Yes it is not a 90, but that doesn't change how I feel."
Many people, including parents and students, praised her for being an understanding mother.
A mother of a standard 10 student is going viral online and the reason will definitely warm your heart.

On the day the CBSE Class 10 results were announced, Vandana Sufia Katoch took to her Facebook account to praise her son for securing 60 per cent marks, leaving many surprised and genuinely happy.

With the results out and some students not securing good marks in their exams and the immense amount of pressure from parents, Vandana’s post was like a breath of fresh air for many.

She had posted a beautiful note on her social media page saying, "Super proud of my boy who scored a 60% in Class 10 board exams. Yes it is not a 90, but that doesn't change how I feel. Simply because I have seen him struggle with certain subjects almost to the point of giving up, and then deciding to give his all in the last month-and-a-half to finally make it through! Here's to you, Aamer. And others like you - fishes asked to climb trees. Chart your own course in the big, wide ocean, my love. And keep your innate goodness, curiosity and wisdom alive. And of course, your wicked sense of humour!"

After she posted the note online, it garnered widespread attention. At the time of writing this article the post already had 10k likes, 1.4k comments and 5.8k shares.

In fact, many people, including parents and students, praised her for being an understanding mother.

While someone wrote, "I surely don't know you. But I am super super proud of you", another wrote, "Let's all be proud of our children, no matter their scores in exams and give them proper support & both ears to listen when they need it the most from us. Hats off to you."

Another user wrote, "You are a great mother, and we couldn’t agree more."
