Jammu, May 10: The employees and staff of Sheep Husbandry Department Kishtwar today urged the Principal Secretary Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department to fill up the post of District Sheep Husbandry Officer Kishtwar which has been lying vacant since the retirement of Dr Younus Zarger in March 2019.
As per the details available with "Early Times", the staff of Sheep Husbandry Department Kishtwar approached the office of the Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar requesting him to take up the matter with the higher officials to ensure the posting of DSHO Kishtwar so that the departmental work as well as the employees don't suffer.
In response to the written submission given by the staff, DC Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana vide letter No. DDCK/Plg/SH-73/FY19/351-53 Dated 9-05-2019 had written a detailed letter to Principal Secretary Animal and Sheep Husbandry highlighting the sufferings of the employees who are without salaries for the past two months.
The DC Kishtwar urged the higher officials to fill the vacant post of DSHO or assign the charge to DSHO Doda so that the grievances of the staff could be redressed.
Meanwhile, Director Sheep Husbandry Jammu also took up the matter with senior officials vide letter No. DSH/J/Esstt-Gaz/F-106/2019-20/1938-40 dated 10-5-2019 requesting the higher authorities to assign the charge of the post to DSHO Doda till permanent arrangements would be made by the department with regard to posting of DSHO Kishtwar.
