Jammu, May 11: The 6th foundation day and international nursing day was celebrated at Super speciality Hospital Government Medical College Jammu.
Dr Sunanda Raina Principal & Dean GMC & AH's Jammu was chief guest on the occasion while Dr Arun Sharma Medical Superintendent Super speciality Hospital along with Dr Deepak Kumar Dy MS, Various Heads of Departments, Matron, Asstt Matron, Supervisors, Incharges of various sections, Nursing, Para Medical and other staff of the hospital were also present.
Other guests invited included Samita Sethi Administrator GMC Jammu, Sonika Vaid DY Director Planning, Deepika Rana Personnal officer GMC & AH's ; Dr Manoj Chalotra Medical Superintendent SMGS & CD Hospital Jammu, Dr Dara Singh Medical Superintendent Govt Medical College Jammu, Dr Rakesh Sharma Dy MS SMGS, Dy MS Govt Medical College Jammu, Dr Vinod Sharma MO Store SMGS, other leaders of Nursing and paramedical council. All nurses were facilitated. Matron Balma Devi was decorated with a crown on her head and a cake was cut for nursing day. A cultural programme was organised by the nursing staff and with recognition of all staff members working in the hospital.
Dr Arun Sharma spoke about the hospital, its milestones, achievements and future plans / requirements. Concluding speech was given by principal & dean GMC & AH's Jammu. Dr Deepak Dy MS presented vote of thanks. |
