Early Times Report
kishtwar, May 11: Government Middle School is another tale of relentless of contractors of school buildings in zone Drabshalla. It seems like the contractors are personally in hatred with future of students, all the school buildings which got collasped due to heavy snow fall were constructed by local contractors of area during SSA plan, and worst and malformed material was used in contracting the buildings, the Issue was earlier hilighted by major newspapers and channels of state, but authorities payd no attention. Beside this teachers of the schools are fearlessly wondering, without paying attention to duty, as the ZEO Drabshalla who is den of corruption seems having friendly ties with malfeasant teachers.
GMS Patti in zone Drabshalla is another prey of this abortive system, this building was constructd in 2012 and was handed over to Education department in 2013, recently 40 students are on roll and the staff strength is 3 only,
Speaking to Early Times, Madan lal a local resident alleged that lakhs of rupees were senctioned for construction of, the school building, but the contractor took it likely and used abortive material while the school building was being constructed, following to which the building got collapsed, and the students of School are being taught in a privates rented, building.
Ranjeet Singh a teacher of said School alleged, that we are suffering a lot due to unavailability of School building as we need a proper environment to carry the teaching learning process, Whereas the students are suffering due to lack of basic facilities in school.
A serious question arises about the future of students in zone Drabshalla, as 65 teachers posted in various schools are attached to ZEO office Drabshalla without any written order, due to which the learning process in school is on risk, but the teachers and ZEO pays no heed, MS pyakul in same zone was found locked without any reason and the incident was brought in the kind notice of ZEO, but no action was taken on ground level.
Parents, of students enrolled in government School are in apprehension abot the future of their offsprings, as the current system of education is shocking for them. They demanded quick and judicative action in this regard.
