Kathua, May 12: With the aim to impart advance skills and improve quality of investigation by sorting out technicalities to increase conviction rate, Kathua Police under the guidelines of Shridhar Patil, IPS SSP Kathua, today conducted a workshop in Conference Hall District Police Lines Kathua for investigating officers. The workshop was inaugurated by SSP Kathua who while delivering inaugural address enjoined upon officers to effectively utilize golden hours just after the incident to save precious lives and solve the case with increased use of technology and people's cooperation. Ramnish Gupta Addl SP Kathua, Vikrant Sharma Chief Prosecution officer, Courts Kathua, K.D. Bhagat DySP DAR Kathua, R.C. Sharma Sr. Prosecution officer, Harish Sharma, ADO DPO Kathua, Amit Sehgal Prosecution officer also participated in the event as experts to guide investigating officers of District Kathua present in the workshop.
In the workshop, the officers discussed various technicalities based on past case studies that could enhance quality investigation in accident cases.The investigating officers raised various issues which were clarified by legal experts.
Such workshops shall be conducted in future also on different aspects of policing to improve skills of investigating officers. |
