ZEO Lower Hathal continues to violate Govt order
'Many teachers still enjoying attachments'
5/12/2019 11:47:44 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, May 12: The Zonal Education Officer Lower Hathal, Sunderbani of district Reasi seems reluctant to take corrective measures regarding attachments of teachers.
Sources said that many teachers still are enjoying attachments and the officer has been following only pick and choose policy while cancelling the attachments.
Although there are clear instructions from the government to cancel attachments of all the teachers in the interest of better personnel management and smooth functioning of various schools including those falling in far flung areas but the ZEO Lower Hathal, according to the sources, is selectively cancelling attachments of teachers.
"After a news story was published in Early Times on 8th May 2019, the Zonal Education Officer cancelled attachments of two teachers i.e. Najama Usha and Neeraj Kumari Sharma forthwith , but ignored detaching other teachers probably waiting for a reminder through a news item to surface for taking quick action," sources claimed.
They informed that one teacher, who has been posted in Government Middle School, Channiparat, Education Zone Lower Hathal, has been kept attached continuously in Government Middle School, Thanda Pani from her original place of posting in violation of government directions.
Besides, another Physical Education teacher and originally posted at Government Higher Secondary School Bhudal and was attached in Government Middle School, Gura Charalla, and later has been attached in Government Higher Secondary School, Sunderbani.
Sources said that attached teachers have very strong connections with higher ups due to which Zonal Education Officer, Lower Hathal seems reluctant to detach them, otherwise he would have cancelled the attachment of all the teachers in one go falling in his zone, they added.
