Early Times Report

Jammu, May 13: All J&K Youth Federation (AJKYF) hailed the decision of J&K Bank and direction issued by the Governor to declare a uniform cut off of 40 across the state for P.O. aspirants in a meeting held here today at AJKYF headquarters. Haroon Rashid, Spokesperson AJKYF said that after number of representations and protests were made by the aspirants of Jammu Division, the administration has taken up the issue and had announced a uniform cut off for the state. "Discrimination with the three regions of the state will not be tolerated" said Rashid while blaming the past government who had created a room between the three Divisions of the state. Rashid stressed upon the issues included unrest among the unemployed youth, against inappropriate and unbenifiting youth policies depriving highly qualified youth of the state including graduates, post-graduate, M.Phil's and Phd's of their rights and further demanded for the appropriate youth policy to be made considering all the three regions of the state.
AJKYF resolves on the that similar discrimination should not take place at the point of P.O.Mains/ P.O. final result, the final result should have same cut off across all the three regions irrespective of their districts, however, the final posting should be given to the deserving candidates in their home district or adjoining districts during probation so that there will be not financially burden during this period as they will be getting less salary.
