Govt. PG College Rajouri clinches 30 medals in NCC camp

Rajouri, May 13: Maintaining its past reputation of getting lion's share in NCC camps organised across the country, NCC Girls wing PG College Rajouri made yet another stride by clinching 30 medals in Annual Training Camp held at Nagrota from 3rd of May to 12th of May 2019. A large number of Colleges and Institutions of Higher Education participated in the Camp in which P.G. College Rajouri NCC Girls wing under the guidance of Associate NCC officer Lt. Dr. Shafia Saleem outperformed the rest of participants in variegated activities performed during 10 day long camp. The medal winner included Asia Malik, Rahat Mirza and Rashda Riaz who got 1st, 2nd & 3rd in firing competition respectively. Whereas Nehirkha Gupta, Rashda Riaz, Falak Naz & Rahat Mirza got 1st, 2md & 3rd prize in poster making competition respectively. Similarly in Drill competition Reenu Devi, Asia Malik, Nehirkha Gupta got 1st , 2nd and 3rd respectively. In Line Area Competition Shazima Charak Rajput got 1st prize, in Dance competition Assia Malik and Shazima Charak won 1st and 2nd prize, in Tug of War Reenu Devi, Shazima Charak, Assia Malik, Jozy Kouser, Rafia Kouser, Nehirkha Gupta, Falak Naz, Refit Kouser, Shazia Akhter, Tazeem Kouser, Rashda Riaz and Sanam Kouser got 1st prize. In Anchoring Shazima Charak got 1st prize, whereas in Piloting Rahat Mirza and Zarina Kouser got 1st & 2nd prize respectively. The Principal Dr. J.A. Qazi Congratulated the medals winner and ANO Lt. Dr.Shafia Saleem for outstanding performance in the camp and assured to extend all possible support and facilities to the girls cadets to excel in future also.
