Salary of Tehsildar Bunjwah withheld for dereliction of duties

Kishtwar, May 14: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar, Angrez Singh Rana today issued an order wherein the salary of Tehsildar Bunjwah was kept withheld for dereliction of duties.
The order issued by DC reads that, " Whereas, based on the directions passed by the undersigned, Nodal Officer Grievance Cell (Punctuality) further asked Tehsildar Bunjwah to visit Middle School Manathon, Bunjwah on 14-05-2019 and check the attendance of teaching staff and also enquire locally about the smooth functioning of the said school there after verify the facts from the records of the office of ZEO Drabshalla.
Whereas, Tehsildar Bunjwah didn't comply the instructions and took the matter very lightly and instead of complying the instructions in letter and spirit, deputed NaibTehsildar for the purpose furnishing half baked information with lot of ambiguities.
Whereas, non compliance on the part of Tehsildar, Bunjwah tantamounts to unbecoming of an Officer which warrants strict disciplinary action under rules".
Acting tough against the erring officer the salary of the Tehsildar Bunjwah was kept withheld till further order. Further, Tehsildar Bunjwah was directed to explain his position within two days as to why disciplinary action be not initiated against him.
DC, Kishtwar further warned all the officers/officials to remain punctual in govt offices and do their legitimate duties otherwise strict disciplinary action shall be initiated.
