RAJOURI, May 14: Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Aijaz Asad, convened a meeting to review implementation of Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Program Yojana (PMJAY).
The DC had a detailed discussion on various issues regarding effective implementation of this flagship programme besides taking up existing flaws and bottlenecks in smooth execution of the scheme.
Other issues which came up for discussion in the meeting included strengthening of district hospital in terms of infrastructure, advanced diagnostic and treatment services, functioning of lift, opening of more registration counters and construction and repair of toilet complexes etc.
It was informed that additional Medical OPD section shall become operational from tomorrow to deal with the patient rush.
DC asked the Medical Superintendent to open additional counters for registration of patients.
DC further informed that a doctors team will visit the top health institutions of the country like AIIMS, PGI Chandigarh, Medanta Medicity, etc. for studying the best practices in the medical field. |
