| Mother commits suicide after son fails in 12th class | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 14: A women committed suicide reportedly after his son failed in class 12th examinations in Samba district.
According to police, a lady name withheld, resident of Taloor village in Samba was disturbed after the declaration of 12th class result, in which her son failed. She consumed some poisonous substance and was taken to hospital in an unconscious condition where she died during treatment.
Her family members immediately rushed her to District Hospital Samba for treatment where doctors washed her stomach and then kept her in the Emergency Ward under observation but she died in the Hospital. A case has been registered in this regards to find the facts.
A police officer said usually, it is the students who attempt suicide after having failed in their exams but in a rare case a mother of the 12th class failed students took the extreme step over her son's poor academic performance.
As per doctors, a lady was admitted in the hospital in an unconscious condition and she was in very critical condition but she died within half an hour. |
