RAJOURI, May 14: Leaving thousands of unemployed youths in Kalakote high and dry, a close aide of former Minister and MLA Kalakote, Abdul Gani Kohli reportedly engaged his brother as daily wager in PDD through backdoor channel and also provided him dealership of CAPD's fair price shop in Kalakote.
According to local sources, taking advantage of political connections of his brother Ishtaq Ahmed has managed to get himself appointed at two government posts in different departments.
Ishtaq enjoys political patronage as he is a younger brother of Kafeel Ahmed who is a PRO of Ex. Minister Abdul Gani Kohli.
Ishtaq Ahmed with the political support of his elder brother has managed to get a job as causal labour in Power Development Department (PDD), while working as a dealer in Food Civil Supplies and Consumers Affairs Department.
However, taking cognizance of the backdoor progress of a brother of influential PRO with ex minister, which getting viral on social media Whatsapp and facebook, Office of the Assistant Director Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs has ordered a verification of Ishtaq Ahmed Fair Price Shop Dealer Chainpur Kalakot and has asked to submit the report within two days.
The appointment list of casual labour also reveals that his appointment is adjusted in back date. Educated young youth and public of the area strongly condemn his appointment on two places and urge upon the administration to take required step and cancel his license as dealership. |
