JAMMU, May 15: Police arrested a person and stolen CDU Telecommunication box worth 4.5 lakhs recovered from his possession.
As per reports, Sheesh Ram Sharma son of Hans Raj Sharma (Driver of Vehicle No. JK21C-4237 attached with Reliance-Jio Company) reported at Police Station Satwari that some unknown person had decamped with CDU Telecommunication box from his Vehicle. Cost of Telecommunication box was approx. Rs 4.5 lacs.
On this, case FIR No.47/2019 u/s 379 RPC was registered at police station Satwari and investigation was set into motion. During course of investigation, many suspects rounded up. Based on leads collected, while questioning from one namely Ashok Kumar son of Bansi Lal alias aka Ram resident of R S Pura, Ward No. 11, H. No. 131, Mill Area, he admitted his involvement in above said theft case and on his disclosure, the said Telcom. Box was recovered from his possession today on May, 15, 2019. Auto Rikshaw bearing registration No. JK02BU 4538 used in commission of crime was also seized. Further investigation of case is under way.
