Rajouri, May 15: A senior Assistant in Block Development Office Sunderbani of district Rajouri, has been given additional charge of another Block Office in violation of norms. Sources told Early times that a Senior Assistant, who has been working in BDO Sunderbani for the last few years was given additional charge of BDO Siot where already a Junior Assistant was working there. Astonishingly, there is no post of Senior Assistant in Block Development Office Siot and all work was being handled by the Junior Assistant, yet he was given another charge.
They said that the Senior Assistant was given this additional charge by Director Rural Development Department, which was not under its purview as this order can be issued only by the concerned ACD, which was overlooked by the Director while giving additional charge to SA. If sources are to be believed the SA was given this additional charge on some consideration and the Junior Assistant in BDO Siot has been sidelined. |
