Mudslinginging’s crossed all the limits
In Indian polity
RB Suri5/15/2019 11:04:39 PM
The mudslinging's which are going on these days of the Lok Sabha polls between the leaders of the various political parties in the Indian polity are really shocking and deplorable. These are very much dangerous for the Parliamentary Democracy indeed. So many general elections were conducted by the Election Commission of India (ECI) in the past but this was not experienced at all. There is a dire need for curbing all this non sense at this stage only otherwise the roots of the democracy would be weakened which will make the way for establishing the Authoritarian Rule in the country. For having not fulfilled the promises made by the Prime Minster of India Narender Modi during the Lok Sabha elections-2014, he is raising the bogey of building the nation as the Hindu Rashtra. Due to this, the minorities are not feeling secured as they feel afraid of the majority. In order to grasp the power at the Center, the leaders of almost all the political parties in the country these days are hectically busy in making the mudslinging's on each other which is very shameful on all of us due to which our heads are down. They are spiting the venom over each other. In the process of the mudslinging's, the unparliamentarily language is being used by these leaders. They are putting the ultimate electorate in the doldrums or fix resulting which he or she has to vote for the mighty candidate or the rich candidate who has engaged the big goondas at his command. Six phases of the polls are already over and only the seventh phase of polls is left as yet. This is really deplorable indeed and with this, there are chances of coming of Goondaraj in the country in the days to come.
This has been substantiated by the American Magazine - TIME which termed PM Narender Modi as the "DIVIDER IN CHIEF" in the cover story of its latest issue along with the photo of the Prime Minister. It has been mentioned in the said magazine that PM Modi has remained as the total failure on all the fronts resulting which the unity of the country is endangered. The Political Analysts are of the firm view that PM Modi could not deliver the goods to the people of India during his rule of five years rather he made the problems being faced by the people as more complicated.
Not only this, just to cover up his misdeeds and the actions he always targeted the Indian National Congress (INC) which remained in power in the country for more than 50 years. The Political Analysts opined that it was the INC only which fought against the Britishers during the freedom movement of the country. No doubt, there was no Jan Sangh or the BJP at that time but the organization to which Modi belongs - RSS was very much there which never participated in the freedom struggle and it was alleged that RSS always sided with the Britishers and opposed Mahatama Gandhi and Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru all along the freedom struggle.
Over the issue of Raffale deal with the France government, the President of INC Rahul Gandhi termed the PM Modi as "Chowkidar Chor Hai" and alleged that he is hand in gloves with Anil Ambani who was given the said purchase order instead of HAL (A GOI undertaking which is an well experienced organization in manufacturing and producing the fighting aircrafts). A huge amount of Rupees more than 40000 crores stand already disbursed by the Union Government to Anil Ambani out of its exchequer. The issue of the Raffale deal is still subjudice before the Apex Court and the final verdict is awaited.
Sanjay Nirupam, a Mumbai prominent politician termed PM Modi as 'Aurangzeb' who is doing the massive damage to the unity and the brotherhood of the country. Whereas the other political leaders in the country are describing the PM Modi as "Hitler" who was the Dictator in Germany as also they are alleging that Modi's party BJP is a one man show and two men Army governing the country mainly on "JUMLEYBAZI" and terming the PM Modi sarkar as "JUMLEYBAZI KI SARKAR". Sanjay Nirupam also spoke against the Governor of J&K Satya Pal Malik who made the statement on last Thursday at Srinagar in which he talked about the involvement of the former Prime Minister of India Rajiv Gandhi. He described the Governors as the "CHAMCHAAS" of the Central Government.
Navjot Singh Sidhu a Cabinet Minister in the Punjab Government has termed PM Modi as a 'Dulhan' who prepares the ROTIS less but makes much noise due to her bangles over her arms. At the same time, in another interview with the electronic media reporters, Sidhu also stated that his party had fought with the Britishers for the attainment of freedom from their slavery and now it will fight against Kale Logoan se (BJP) continuously.
Priyanka Gandhi termed PM Modi as Daryodhan. She alleged that these days Narender Modi is playing the role of Daryodhan under whose rule Women are not safe at all resulting which the number of rape cases are being reported by the media and the Police is keeping mum and seeing all this nonsense as a silent spectator. On the contrary, PM Modi and his team is targeting the Gandhi parivar every day and is exploiting the people of the country against it.
According to Kanahaiya Kumar a Rising politician in the Indian polity, PM Modi while preaching the ideology of the killer of Mahatma Gandhi - Nathu Ram Godse, what sort of Nationalism Modi wants from the people of India ? But in fact, it is true that every citizen of this country is a Nationalist as he or she wants the overall development and the progress of the nation. It is very strange to observe that when whosoever raise the issues of the public concern they ( BJP brigade) label him or her as the antinational or Deshdrohi as if this country belongs to them only. Actually they are spreading the fascism in the county which will be very dangerous for the country in the days to come. A day back only, Tejasvy Yadav of RJD has alleged that there is something wrong with Modi's DNA. Kejriwal has met with the un towards incidents in the past wherein he was labeled with the black ink, attacked with the shoes as also he was slapped by a person in the road show or the rally at New Delhi which is highly condemnable. Maniishankar Iyer of the INC reiterated that PM Modi is a 'Neech Aadmi' once again. A famous south Indian star and a politician Kamal Hassan has drawn a comparison of PM Modi with the killer of the father of the nation Mahatama Gandhi- Nathhu Ram Godsey who he termed as the Hindu terrorist.
All this nonsense is going on these days and the people of the country are frightened and feeling worried about the future of the Parliamentary democracy in the country. For the success of the Parliamentary Democracy in the country, it is essential that there should be a strong system of check and balance that means that the existence of the strong opposition is must. At the moment, no doubt, the opposition political parties are contesting the Lok Sabha elections these days but they are divided resulting which PM Modi and his brigade has the field totally open. Owing to this PM Modi has an open field from where he doesn't expect a challenge to his deeds and the actions. A need of the hour is that there should be some unity among the Political Parties besides Congress, of course in giving the tough resistance to Modi lest he be not turned as a Dictator. In order to check the further advancement of Prime Minister Narender Modi, the opposition political parties in the country should think afresh for the unity finally as also for forming the GRAND ALLIANCE which is the need of the hour. Divided opposition can't face the BJP. It is very serious matter of concern for the opposition political parties. Mamta Banerjee and Sonia Gandhi in the past had tried their best but remained unsuccessful on this score. They should join their hands together in giving the befitting reply to PM Modi as an 'Political Alternative' in the shape of a 'GRAND ALLIANCE' in the Country just on the pattern of the United Kingdom (UK) without wasting any further time or the country should switch over to the Presidential form of the government in India instead of the Parliamentary Democracy. This becomes necessary that Lok Sabha elections 2014 and 2019 were fought on the names of Narender Modi and Rahul Gandhi for the post of the Prime Minister of India. But the Parliamentary system of governance of the country says something else as MPs are are elected first and then only they elect their leader unanimously to head the government at the Center. Before having elected as MPs they have already elected their leaders - Narender Modi or Rahul Gandhi to represent them and head the government. This is very strange indeed. Or in the alternative, the people of the country should think for establishing the THREE PARTY system of governance in the country thereby dissolving the present system of governance out of the more than 700 national and the regional political parties in the country.
