Jammu, May 15: J&k speed ball association selected thirty players from different schools of different district namely S.D tara puri school, Dogra Hr. sec. school, DPS Jammu , Banyan International school, Jammu Sanskariti school, May Fair School, Air force school, ST. Xavier convent school, New era enivermental school, Nanda sports club for north zone championship is scheduled on May 17-18, 2019.
Sunny Nanda, a world medalist, will accompany the team as a chief coach & Sahil Janjua will accompany the team as manager and Arti Bhagat will accompany the team as head girl respectively.
The Flagging Off Ceremony was held At Birla Open Mind International School. On the occasion Vinnay Kumar (Sp South) as Chief Guest. Virender Gupta, J.S Hundal Principal Bomis As special guests And Abhay Basur (Director Mfs) Sh.Sonu Sharma (Director Lmps) As a Guests. Vinnay said the association will play a proactive role in providing a new platform to youth will support the activities which are beneficial for the youth of J&K. The association members namely, Anil Nanda, Pawan kumar, Jatin, Sandeep, Janeet Kour were also present on the occasion.
The selected students were Bhumika Gupta, Prakshima Gupta, Anshuka Gupta, Kanika Dewan, Sameer Kalotra, Rehana, Mannat Kour, Janvi Sharma, Akriti Gupta, Atharva gupta, Mishti Gupta, Yogant Singh, Rudraksh Sharma, Aneesh Sharma, Shanu Singh, Harington Paul, Suchit Kumar, Prince Khoja, Dhruv Choudhary, Smohit Sharma, Saksham Rana, Naisargika, Karanveer Singh, Danish gupta, Veronica Kour. On This Occasion J&K Sports Speed Ball Association distributed speed ball rackets to the selected players.
