Jammu, May 15: Department of Youth Services and Sports Samba (DYSS) organized Inter-School, athlete meet at MV International School (MVIS). Two day's tournament for Girls& Boys was divided into two categories namely Under 14 (U-14) and Under 17 (U-17). More than 400 girls & boys students from Vijaypur Zone participated in the event that was organised under the supervision of Ashok Kumar, Zonal Physical Educational Officer Vijaypur.
The Children participated in Discuss Throw, Javelin throw, Long & High Jumps, 100 mts, 200 mts & 400 mts relay race.
Boys High Jump U-17 was won Abu Umar (11D) MV International School. Boys Long Jump U-14 was won by Naitik Tiwari (8B) MV International School. Boys Long Jump U-17 was won by Aryan Rajput (12D) MV International School. Discus throw U-17 was won by Vikas Chaudhary (11B) MV International School.
Relay race U-14 was won by MV International School comprising of students, Veer Bharat Singh (9B), Pratham Sardhalia (9th B), Naitik Tiwari (8B), & Gourav Maandi (9 A) . 400 metres race U-14 was won by Veer Bharat Singh (9B) of MV International School. 600 metres race U-14 was won by Randeep Singh (8B) of MV International School. Relay race U-17 was won by MV International School comprising of Aryan Singh (12D), Antish Sharma (10A), Abu Umar (11D) & Avinash Choudhary (9B). 800 metres race U-17 was won by Arush Verma (11D) of MV International School. Girl's Shot-Put event U-14 was won by Himshika Verma (9B). Jasmeet Kour (6B). Relay race U-14 was won by team comprising of Isha (8B), Anandita (7A), Simran Kumari (7C) & kanchan Salaria (7C). Discus throws & Shot-Put U-17 event was won by Prinka Slathia (10A) of MV International School.
