5/16/2019 10:50:17 PM
Early Times Report
KOTRANKA, May 16: The students of Government Middle School Thala (GMS) Chapar are risking their lives to pursue studies as the building of their institution is dilapidated and quite unsafe. Sarpanch Bainambal Mohd Iqbal said that the condition of school building is pathetic and it is very dangerous for students studying under this building. He told that there are seven rooms out of which four rooms are unsafe and out of remaining three rooms one is being used for office purpose while two other rooms are serving 94 students. He appealed the concerned ZEO to shift the school to a safer building.
Sarpanch Mohd Iqbal appealed governor administration to look into the matter because this issue pertains to our future generation as the unsafe building is not also hazardous for the students but the teachers posted there are also at risk. He also appealed ZEO and CEO Rajouri to visit the school and provide a new building.
When contacted Headmaster GMS Thala Chapar said that the matter has been informed to the ZEO in August last year adding that with only two rooms at their disposal, it is very difficult to manage and adjust 94 students in that little accommodation.
