Plus 2 Lecturers' Forum demands regularisation of Incharge incumbents

Jammu, May 19: All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers' Forum has demanded regularization of incharge incumbents, during a monthly meeting held at Udhampur.
According to press release, deliberating on the issue of incharge culture in the School Education department, the speakers, resented that a large number of officers including Jt directors, Chief Education officers, Principals and Lecturers in the School Education department have been serving in the incharge capacity for varying periods of time.
Despite assurances by the successive governments to regularise them, they continue to serve in the incharge capacity. They have submitted their documents for regularisation many a time but are still awaiting their regularisation for many years.
Ashok Sharma while welcoming the decision of the School Edu Department to constitute a committee for the redressal of the grievances of plus 2 Lecturers vide order no 23 Edu of 2019 Dated 27. 3 .2019 and endorsement no:Edu/V/148/2018-1 Dated 27.3.2019, he urged the Govt to redress the genuine grievances of the Plus 2 cadre.
He also demanded that regularisation orders of the Incharge incumbents in the School Education Department be issued at the earliest and the other long pending demands of the Forum such as, Non vacational status to the Principals, upgradation of the post of Lecturer in Physical Education, etc.be conceded at the earliest.
Among those who addressed the meeting included Arunesh Kumar, Ashwani Kumar, Ram Murti, Mohan Lal Sharma, Verinder Kumar Laira , Veena Rani and others.
