Doda, May 19: Man was critically injured after he was attacked by bear in a remote area in Doda district on sunday here.
Injured man identified as Abdul Samad Hajam S/o Abdul Aziz Hajam 45 years a resident of Balal village, Bharath in Doda. He was bleeding profusely from head and was rushed to Sub centre Bharath, and later reffered to District hospital Doda associate GMC for special treatment. Doctors said he out of danger now.
Speaking to Early Times, injured Samad said, bear attacked him while he was grazing his cattles in Balal forest area along with his son.
Bear suddenly pounced him on head, while his son raised an alarm nearby neighbours ran out to help and shifted him Hospital. Samad said many cases of bear attack witnessed before in our villages, creates fear among the farmers. |
