Anganwari centres rarely open, Children left high and dry
5/19/2019 10:27:14 PM

Ashwani Sharma
Early Times Report
Udhampur, May 19: Many ICDS centres in Ramnagar are not giving proper facilities to the children for which they are mandated.
A visit to many such centres brought many starling facts to fore. At Bari and incha Anganwari centres people said that aganwardi centre remains closed most of the times.
They also said that anganwardi workers come looked when they note the names of children and then leave. The villagers alleged that these workers forward the lists of the children to higher ups and withdraw ration while the children for whom these things are meant get nothing.
They demanded a high level probe into this and appealed to the Governor Satya Pal Malik and DC Udhampur Piyush singla to take cognisance of this wrong doing.
